During the opening ceremony, FAH-SYSU and Mass General Brigham announced the establishment of a long-term partnership.

Xiao Haipeng, Executive Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University and President of FAH-SYSU, delivered the opening speech.He emphasized that international cooperation is crucial in the face of current global healthcare challenges, noting that FAH-SYSU has established partnerships with over 60 top medical institutions worldwide.

? ? ? During the conference, President Xiao shared with domestic and international medical professionals the "FAH-DNA Model" of a new health network developed by FAHSYSU by introducing practical cases from the hospital.

? ? ? President Xiao explained that this model centers on FAH- SYSU, leveraging three vectors:Doctors, Nurses, and Artificial Intelligence. Through regional medical centers, social health and wellness cooperation institutions, family health care services, and internet hospitals, the model delivers high-quality medical services to every community and family, aiming to promote fairness and accessibility in medical services.

At the forum,experts from medical management and academic fields at home and abroad also presented academic reports and discussions on topics such as leveraging emerging data science to drive the development of medical service institutions, medical research innovation, and strategic transformation in healthcare.

Dr.Nawal Nour,Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a founding member of Mass General Brigham,emphasized the collaboration with FAH-SYSU, stating, "It's truly an honor to be a part of the collaboration with FAH-SYSU My department has been working closely with our peers at FAH-SYSU for some time, exchanging ideas and inspiring one another. I have built my career around women's health and from my own perspective, advancing women's health is a global mission."
